ABOUT US

MEET OUR FAMILY

Thank you for visiting our site, we are so glad you are here! We are three sisters, and together, with our mom, we created Wunderbins. We have a passion for finding creative outlets for our children, and one of our favorite go to’s has been sensory bins!

Wunderbins started with us creating bins as fun activities to do together with our children. It has become so much more than that! We have witnessed the difference these bins have made for our children and their development. From helping soothe anxiety, to preventing toddler’s tantrums, to seeing the look of joy and excitement on our children’s faces when they see a bin full of sensory toys, the benefits have been endless. We have enjoyed these bins so much, and we are so grateful to you for letting us share them with your family! We hope you love them as much as we do!

XOXO,

Annisa, Caiti, Abby, & Ellie

CREATE

Creating memories with our children is something that we value as a family. We have found such joy in putting together crafts and sensory activities for our own children, and watching them learn and discover through creativity. We've witnessed its calming effects, the way it boosts their confidence, and helps them develop new ways of thinking and problem solving. We can't wait for you to create new memories along with us!

IMAGINE

Sensory bins invite children to imagine new worlds.  Our favorite thing is to see how each child, given the same items, will create something beautifully unique.  As they experiment with sensory bins they will develop scientific thinking, curiosity in their environment, and the ability to see new possibilities.

When a child's imagination is unleashed, they are able to translate the imagery in their mind into a tangible reality that includes colors, textures, and smells.  This has been shown to not only expand the ability of the mind to "think outside the box," but also encourages healthy memory development and grounding in reality.

DISCOVER

Sensory play helps children navigate the world around them.  Repeated participation in sensory play promotes connections in the brain that assist in abilities to perform more complex activities.  It advances language development, memory, and discovering learning styles.

Through sensory-driven play, children observe their environment and how different materials interact and effect each others textures and appearance.  Hands on exploration has been shown to positively impact and supplement all other learning styles, benefiting a larger portion of children than any other method.
